Let’s talk about something that's just as important as the art we create: safety and hygiene.
When you're choosing an artist, you're not just looking for great designs;
you're looking for someone you can trust with your well-being.
I want to pull back the curtain and show you exactly what goes into a professional, sterile tattoo process, so you can feel completely at peace during your session.
Let's start with the basics: the studio.
Everything you see here is designed with safety in mind.
Single-Use Everything: I only use single-use needles, ink caps, razors, and grips.
Once they touch a client's skin, they go straight into a biohazard sharps container. This is the number one rule to prevent cross-contamination.
Work Station Setup: Before every client,
I fully sanitize and wrap my entire station with disposable barriers. This ensures that every surface is perfectly clean and sterile for each new person.
The Power of PPE: You'll always see me washing and sanitizing my hands before wearing fresh gloves for every single tattoo.
These aren't just for me; they're to protect you and maintain a sterile environment.
Now, let's talk about the stuff that really matters. A good artist will always be able to show you their credentials.
First, this is my Bloodborne Pathogen Certificate. I renew this every single year.
It's an online course that teaches me how to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. It’s my commitment to your health.
Second, this is my official tattoo artist license from the state of California.
This shows that I've met all the legal requirements and health and safety standards to practice in our state.
When you're choosing an artist, don't be afraid to ask to see these things.
Your safety is worth it.
